Believing Is Seeing
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Have you ever sat in a chair without checking it first? Of course you have! You trusted that the chair would hold you up, even though you couldn’t see to make sure it was strong enough. That’s kind of what faith is like!
Faith means trusting in something you can’t see. You can’t see God with your eyes. You can’t see heaven yet. You can’t see the future that God has planned for you. But you can trust that it’s all real because God promised it!
The Bible tells us about a man named Abraham who was really good at trusting God. God told Abraham that he would have more descendants (kids, grandkids, great-great-great grandkids) than he could count—like the stars in the sky! But Abraham and his wife Sarah were super old and didn’t have any children yet. It seemed impossible! But Abraham believed God anyway. He trusted what he couldn’t see. And guess what? God kept His promise!
Sometimes following Jesus means believing in things we can’t see yet. We believe Jesus forgave our sins, even though we can’t see our sins being washed away. We believe God is with us, even though we can’t see Him walking beside us. We believe heaven is real, even though we’ve never been there. That’s faith!
Think About It: What’s something about God that you believe even though you can’t see it? Maybe it’s that He loves you, that He hears your prayers, or that heaven is real. Thank God right now for those invisible but true things. Ask Him to help your faith grow stronger every day!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
