Triple Inspiration

The name "Ruby" is drawn from three sources

01

Spiritual Reflection

Ruby Women points to God's refining work in a woman's life: pressure that produces depth, clarity, and radiance. Faith is formed in real places: endurance, surrender, obedience, and the quiet choices to keep trusting. As God shapes character over time, He reveals a strength that is steady, beautiful, and unshakable.

02

Family Heritage

Ruby Women is rooted in the Jeremiah family legacy, a history of ministry across generations. It honors the faithfulness, leadership, and steady witness that have shaped so many lives. Like a treasured inheritance, it carries forward what is lasting: biblical truth, spiritual devotion, and the enduring legacy of women who love God well.

03

Gemstone Symbolism

The ruby gemstone represents love, protection, passion, and strength: beauty with meaning, not just sparkle. It's a symbol of value that doesn't fade with trends or time. Ruby Women reflects a life marked by purpose: radiant on the outside, anchored in something deeper within.

For her worth is far above rubies.Proverbs 31:10

A deeper brilliance than beauty

What Does Scripture Say?

Throughout Scripture, rubies and precious stones are used to picture what is rare, weighty, and enduring.

Wisdom is described as "more precious than rubies," reminding us that what God forms in us is of greater value than anything we can hold (Proverbs 3:15; 8:11). A woman of noble character is also said to be worth "far above rubies," not because of outward sparkle, but because of inward strength and steadfast faith (Proverbs 31:10).

And while the Bible celebrates beauty, it consistently points us to a deeper brilliance: character refined through the Lord's faithful work (1 Peter 1:7; Malachi 3:2-3). Even the imagery of God's glory is described in gemstones, hinting at permanence, splendor, and a life anchored in something eternal (Exodus 28:17-20; Revelation 21:18-21).

Rooted in Legacy

Generations of Faithfulness

Ruby is a women's brand from Turning Point, inspired by legacy, faith, and the refining work of God. Named for Dr David Jeremiah's mother, Ruby, and Donna Jeremiah's July birthstone, ruby, this brand celebrates the beauty of a woman's faith made radiant under pressure.

Like the gemstone itself, a woman's character is formed and refined through time, and radiant with divine light. Her beauty is not defined by perfection, but by reflection of Christ within her. Through elegant products, timeless teachings, and a clear biblical foundation, Ruby will invite women everywhere to see their worth as God sees it: far above rubies.

Ruby Jeremiah with her husband

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies" (Proverbs 31:10).

At his mother's memorial service, David Jeremiah referred to Proverbs 31, and to his mother as "Mrs. Far Above Rubies." It was most appropriate, for Ruby Jeremiah was a virtuous woman of great worth.

The Jeremiahs came to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dayton in 1950. Our new pastor and his wife provided the caring, spiritual leadership we needed. Mrs. Jeremiah's love for her Lord was very evident to her class of senior high girls. Her sound teaching challenged them to live for God. She was a godly example to them--a wife and mother totally committed to husband and children.

The youth group appreciated her gracious hospitality. We enjoyed the fun-filled times and the serious Bible studies held in the parsonage. Several of us went off to Baptist Bible Seminary. We were encouraged to know our pastor and his wife were praying for us.

Then the Jeremiahs took on a new challenge--Cedarville College. The school was small and struggling. Some doubted it would survive. When I joined the faculty, I saw Mrs. Jeremiah doing what she could to help the college survive and grow.

Someone to run the post office? She could do that. Someone to run the print shop? She could do that. Someone to plan a fall faculty-staff dinner? She could prepare the dinner and serve it in the Jeremiahs' garage. Someone to give student wives the opportunity to learn and grow together? She could start a student wives' fellowship. Someone to work and to lead in the Women's Auxiliary? She could work with others to provide lounge furniture and mattress pads for the dorms, curtains for the stage and an organ for the chapel.

And through it all, Mrs. Jeremiah was a joyful servant of the Savior, delighting to do His will. She never sought praise or recognition, but quietly behind the scenes showed warmth, compassion, genuineness, humor, diligence, consistency, and faithfulness in prayer.

"Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her" (Proverbs 31:28). And so do those who were privileged to know Ruby Jeremiah.
