God Always Keeps His Promises!
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 2 Peter 1:4, NLT
Have you ever had someone make you a promise and then break it? Maybe a friend promised to play with you but didn’t show up. Maybe someone promised you something special but forgot. It feels pretty bad when promises get broken, doesn’t it?
Here’s some amazing news: God has NEVER broken a promise. Not even once! Not in all of history! The Bible says, “Not one word has failed of all His good promise” (1 Kings 8:56, ESV). Every single promise God makes He keeps. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!
But what are these promises? Well, God promised to send Jesus to save us—and He did! God promised to give us the Holy Spirit to help us—and He did! God promised that everyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life—and that promise is yours if you’ve trusted in Jesus! The Bible says God has given us “great and precious promises.” That means they’re super valuable and important! These promises are so good that they help us become more like Jesus. They give us power to say “No” to sin and “Yes” to God!
Sadly, lots of people break their promises. God is different. When God makes a promise, you can COUNT on it. It’s like having a million dollars in the bank that you KNOW will be there whenever you need it!
Take Action: Make a “God’s Promises” poster! Draw a big shield or treasure chest and write down promises from the Bible inside it. Here are some to get you started: I will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5); Jesus is preparing a place for you in heaven (John 14:2-3); nothing can separate you from God’s love (Romans 8:39).

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
