God Reveals Mysteries!
There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. Daniel 2:28, NIV
Do you like mysteries? Maybe you’ve read mystery books or watched detective shows where someone has to figure out clues to solve a puzzle. Mysteries can be really fun, except when the mystery is something in YOUR life that you can’t figure out!
Sometimes life throws us mysteries that seem impossible to solve. Why did that bad thing happen? How will this problem get fixed? What should I do in this situation? These kinds of mysteries can make us feel confused or worried.
In the Bible, there was a man named Daniel who faced some really tough situations. But Daniel knew something important: “There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries!” That means when we don’t understand something, God can help us figure it out! Daniel would read God’s promises in the Bible and hold onto them when things were confusing. He knew that even when HE didn’t have all the answers, God did! And God would show him what he needed to know at the right time.
The same is true for you! When you’re facing something you don’t understand, you can go to God’s Word and find promises to help you. You can pray and ask God to show you what to do. God might not answer all your questions right away, but He promises to guide you and give you what you need!
Take Action: Be a detective who investigates evidence of God’s promises! Grab a journal or some paper or start a new note on your tablet. Write down things you don’t understand or mysteries you’re facing. Pray about those things. God will answer! Maybe not today or tomorrow—but that’s why you’re keeping track. When God guides you to understand the mysteries or answers your questions, go back and write that next to your original question. You’ll start to build a case with evidence of how powerful God is!
