God Is Always With You!
“Look!” [King Nebuchadnezzar] answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Daniel 3:25
Imagine you’re facing something really scary—like riding the biggest, scariest roller coaster ever or having to give a speech in front of your whole school or going to the doctor for a shot. Now imagine your best friend or your mom or dad is right there with you, holding your hand. Doesn’t that make it feel less scary?
That’s kind of what these three stories from the Bible teach us: God is ALWAYS with us, especially when things are hard!
First, three men (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego) were thrown into a super hot fire because they wouldn’t bow down to a fake god. But when the king looked into the fire, he saw FOUR men walking around, and they weren’t even getting burned! The fourth person looked like “the Son of God”—that was Jesus!
Second, when Jesus and His disciples were in a boat during a scary storm, Jesus was right there with them. He even calmed the storm!
Third, when the disciples were struggling to row their boat because of strong winds, Jesus came to them—walking on the water!
The point of all these stories? GOD IS WITH YOU! He promises, “I will never leave you” (Hebrews 13:5). No matter what you’re going through, God is right there with you!
Think About It: Sometimes the best way to remind yourself that God is with you is to remember a time when you felt Him before. Can you think of a time when you felt like God was with you during a difficult situation? You probably felt really scared at the time, but looking back at it, now it doesn’t seem like such a big deal. Pray and ask God to be with you, and remember that in the future when you look back on the problem you’re facing now, it’ll probably feel a lot less scary.

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
