Have you ever seen a movie or show where the main character has to repeat the same day over and over again? They go to bed at night, only to wake up the next morning on the same day they just lived with everything that happened the day before completely erased.

In real life, we don’t live the same day over and over. But here’s something even better: God’s mercy and love are new every morning! That means every single day when you wake up, God’s forgiveness, His love, and His help are brand-new!

Imagine if every mistake you made yesterday was still piled on your back today. And then tomorrow, you’d add more mistakes to the pile. Pretty soon, you’d be crushed under all that weight! How awful would that be?

But that’s NOT how God works! The Bible says that God’s compassion (that means His love and kindness) never runs out. It’s “new every morning”! When you ask God to forgive you for yesterday’s mistakes, He does, and you get to start today fresh and clean!

This doesn’t mean your mistakes don’t matter. But it DOES mean that God’s love is bigger than any mistake you could ever make. Every morning is a new beginning with God!

Take Action: Tonight before bed talk to God about anything you did wrong today. Ask Him to forgive you. Then in the morning when you wake up, say “Thank You, God, for a brand-new day!” Remember that His love and mercy are fresh and new for you!
