Have you ever wished someone could just tell you how things were going to turn out? Like before a big test, a tough game, or a scary situation? Wouldn’t it be amazing to know ahead of time that everything was going to be okay? Knowing ahead of time would change everything about how you walked into it, wouldn’t it? Instead of fear, you’d have confidence and hope.

Here’s something incredible: that’s exactly one of the reasons Jesus told His disciples about the future! In Matthew 24, Jesus described some pretty serious and scary things that would happen in the world one day. But he didn’t tell them to frighten them. He told them so they would be prepared. So they would have hope. So that when the hard things came, they wouldn’t be caught off guard and think God had lost control.

Jesus promised you amazing things about your future too! He promised to return one day and make everything right. He promised that if you believe in Him, you will spend forever in heaven with Him. He promised that He is getting a place ready for you in eternity.

You can trust all of Jesus’ promises! That means you don’t have to face uncertain times with fear, because the One who already knows the end of the story is walking right beside you!
