Tell Your Story
[The man Jesus healed of blindness] answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.” John 9:11
One of the most powerful stories in the entire Bible is about a man who had been completely blind his whole life—until Jesus healed him! When people started asking what happened, he didn’t give a big speech or try to explain it all. He was just honest and told people exactly what Jesus had done for him.
The religious leaders asked him difficult questions and tried to confuse him. But he just kept saying the same thing: “Here’s what I know. I was blind. Jesus did this. And now I can see.” Nobody could win that argument against him! He was honestly telling what had happened. It’s powerful when you can say what God has actually done in your life!
Every single person who has trusted Jesus has a story. Maybe yours is about the moment you asked Him into your heart. Maybe yours is a time God answered a specific prayer, or helped you through something really hard, or changed something in you that you couldn’t change on your own. Whatever your story is, it matters! No one can argue with you. And someone out there needs to hear it!
The Bible says we should always be ready to tell others the reason for the hope we have (1 Peter 3:15). You don’t need to be a pastor or know every verse in the Bible. You just need to know how God has helped you and be willing to share it. That’s it!
Take Action: Try writing out your story this week. Write about how you came to know Jesus, and one specific way He has worked in your life. Keep it simple, just like the man who was healed! Then practice saying it out loud until you feel comfortable sharing it. Ask God to give you an opportunity to tell someone your story this week, and then keep your eyes open for that moment!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
