God Knows YOU
O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. Psalm 139:1-2
Think about your very best friend. The one who knows your favorite food, your biggest fear, what makes you laugh till you can’t breathe, and what makes you feel sad. It’s amazing when someone actually knows you that well, right? It feels so good to be truly known.
Now here’s something even more amazing: God knows you better than your best friend ever could. He even knows you better than you know yourself.
King David wrote about this in one of the most beautiful poems in the entire Bible, Psalm 139. He wrote that God knows everything about him. When he sits down, when he gets up, what he’s thinking, where he goes. God was even there when David was being formed before he was born! And God knows every single detail about you too!
And here’s the really incredible part... God knows everything about you (even the bad stuff!), and He still loves you completely. He’s not surprised when you have a bad day, or make a wrong choice, or even by the things you’re embarrassed about. He already knows all those things, and His love for you doesn’t change.
When you need help you can go straight to God because He knows you better than anyone. You never have to explain yourself or fill Him in on what happened. He already knows. And He’s ready to help you.
Think About It: Psalm 139:23-24 says David asked God to search his heart and show him anything that needed to change. That’s a brave prayer! Can you pray that prayer today? “God, You know me completely. Search my heart and help me see anything I need to work on. I want to live in a way that makes You glad.” Then work on it!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
