Praise Him Always!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6
Do you praise God only when things are going great, or also when things are hard?
It’s easy to thank God when your team wins, when you get a good grade, or when something exciting happens. But what about when you’re sick? Or when you’re struggling? Or when something really disappointing happens? That’s when praise takes real faith.
But here’s the truth: God is just as worthy of praise on your worst day as He is on your best day. Why? Because He never changes! His goodness doesn’t get bigger when life is easy and get smaller when life is hard. He is ALWAYS good. He is always faithful. And He always loves you. Those things are true ALL THE TIME!
The last psalm in the whole book of Psalms (Psalm 150) ends with an absolute explosion of praise. It says every instrument, every voice, and everything that breathes should praise the Lord! It’s like the entire book of Psalms builds up to this incredible finale of pure, joyful praise.
When you’re going through tough times, praise is actually one of the most powerful things you can do. It reminds your heart of who God is. It declares your trust in Him. And it invites His presence into your situation in a powerful way.
Take Action: Write a short “Praise List” with five reasons to praise God that are true no matter what’s happening in your life right now. Things like: “You are always good,” “You love me no matter what,” “You are in control,” “You never leave me.” Read that list out loud as a prayer. Try doing this even on the hard days (actually, ESPECIALLY on the hard days!).

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
